The first part of the event was kind of an opening ceremony, and then some musical performances by the grade. They sang a song, and played a song on the recorder. Patrick's teacher, Tetsuka-Sensei, was the conductor for one of the songs. So, that's another skill you have to have in order to be a teacher in Japan.
After that, Patrick had a presentation. He was in a group that researched the Houshakuji Station in Takanezawa. The station is currently under renovation, and his group studied both the past history of the station, and the future plan.
They had prepared posters about the station, and each had a portion of the presentation to speak.

However, since there were 3 other presentations going on in the same room at the same time, it was difficult to hear. Despite that, it was a great presentation, and good to hear Patrick speaking in Japanese:
